You might be wondering, does goat milk really make that much of a difference in soap? Yes it does and here is why:
Most soaps are made with water. In my soap, I replace the water with goat milk. It has so many extra benefits that are wonderful for your skin.
Goat milk is great for anyone that has dry, sensitive skin or even anyone that has healthy skin and wants to stay that way. Goat milk soap contains lactic acid which helps remove dead skin cells. The lactic acid helps break down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. This will leave you with healthy, new skin.
The milk is very high in Vitamin A which helps restore damaged skin and maintain healthy skin. There have been several studies that prove Vitamin A reduces lines and wrinkles, controls acne, and provides some psoriasis relief.
The cream that is present in goat milk helps boost the moisturizing property of the soap. Goat milk soap will not dry out your skin like many other soaps and will help in the winter months when skin tends to get dry and cracked.
For me, the best benefit of making goat milk soap is that I get to keep a bunch of these in my yard:
